Jo Lavelle’s jewellery is lovingly created from her Manchester studio using silver and is handmade using traditional jewellery making techniques and casting. More recently semi precious beads have been added to collections and in particular to one off pieces and exhibition pieces.
The most popular range of jewellery made by Jo is called Pompom. Pompom is characterised by the use of small silver tags that are bunched together in various ways adding a textural shape and a voluminous kinetic effect that is pleasurable to the wearer. To compliment the jewellery ranges one off pieces and exhibition pieces are made and will appear in this blog or online in the selling page so keep your eyes peeled!!
Jo’s inspirations date back to watching relatives wearing jewellery, in particular charm bracelets that move, make noise and that are eye catching.
