It is well over a week since the first Sale Arts Trail finished and what a weekend it was!
This is the first event that I organised alongside Sophie Nixon and Sarah Malone and actually exhibited in too! An accomplishment on all our behalf’s!!
Below are some pictures from the second day where I was stationed in Minikin on Northenden Road in Sale along with Zoe Docherty’s paintings, Sarah Mitch photographic canvas’s and John Slade ceramics. It was busy in Minikin as we had a drop in session where Sale Trailers could make a ring from wire and beads or watch John on his potters wheel and he even let kids loose on the wheel too on Sunday! Overall it was a fabulous weekend aided by great weather and we even had a visit from Snow White at Minikin!!!
I managed to catch the talk given by artist David Gledhill too at Waterside Arts Centre which gave great insight into his work and there was also a lively chat after the talk which is always a good sign!
Through the activities in Minikin on Saturday and Sunday we managed raise money for St Anne’s hospice.
